Poseidon Statue

The Poseidon statue which presides over Götaplatsen square, the city's cultural hub, just outside my apartment at Geijersgatan. The 7 metre high statue of Poseidon (The Greek God of the Deep Sea, earthquakes, and horses, and brother of Zeus) was unveiled in the Götaplatsen in 1927 to celebrate the City's tri-centenary.Poseidon - Another view
